Objective: Los Parentis have been away for the weekend with their neighbours so we had the task for looking after their cats for the weekend. The male cat suffers from an over-active thyroid so requires medication, hence why we looked after him. The other cat just squawks a lot. Its not been too bad as their are well old now so don’t too much but sometimes you just reap what you sow. The only place in the garden that has a gap in it it behind the shed and guess where the damn cat went first! Yep. Straight over the neighbours who doesn’t like cats and he wouldn’t come back!
Eventually retrieved I was able to play the German guard – “For you, cooler; one hour” Or sent to the garage which isn’t very warm at this time of the year. He soon worked out that behaving = warm house: naughty cat=cooler.
No trouble the rest of the weekend and returned to owners.Didn’t find any signs of tunnels or gliders in the loft. Red Cross parcels all consumed and no missing light bulbs.
Mission Accomplished.
I have found the German Shepard is very good at ‘guarding’ cats.
Heh. Only you could try to herd cats. plaiting fog next week, is it?
